It’s a beautiful city, even though it’s extremely hilly. The positive thing about that? Well, you have a marvelous view over the city and the sea when you’re on the top. The negative thing? Well, sometimes you think it would have been a good idea to bring a extra par of lungs, or legs… Even though, it’s totally worth it, believe me! I would say that is the most distinguish city in Cuba, not just because the hills but the whole atmosphere. On the anniversary of Fidel Castro´s death, I had the opportunity to visit his grave at Santa Ifgenia cemetery. I was there quite early in the morning but the place was already crowded and it was a lot of flowers around his grave. The sky was bright blue and it was a magic day, and a magic place, even though in reality it was a cruel reminder that the world lost one of its most intelligent men. For me it felt like the perfect end (even though I at that point had almost a week left in Cuba) of my journey through Cuba in the footsteps of Fidel, Raúl, Che and the whole Cuban revolution. Hasta la victoria siempre!
